Construction has begun on the John Connor Brown Life Center! Everyone is excited and working hard to bring this labor to fruition. The Life center will be used for church meetings and functions and will serve as a center for ministry to the community as well.

For those of you who did not have the privilege of knowing Connor you missed knowing a fine Christian young man. I first had the pleasure of meeting him in 2006 here in Panama. He came to work on a mission trip with a group brought down by brother Tim Dobbs. In 2007 Connor was taken from us in a tragic automobile accident that saddened us all and devastated his loving family. It is an incredible honor to have a part in building the John Connor Brown Life Center in his memory.

While Connor was in Panama he made many friends who remember him fondly. He will welcome many of them in heaven some day. The very children you see in these pictures along with many others and their families will learn about Jesus and mature as Christians in the JCB Life Center. It pleases me greatly that Connor's witness will continue to spread the Gospel and minister to God's children for decades to come through this Life Center.

There are some forty villages in the Darien rainforest. We are struggling to take the saving message of Jesus to all of them. Our goal is to establish a church and Life Center in each village and leave capable trained men to lead and teach. You are all our fellow laborers and with your contributions, prayers and participation in this work many souls will be saved and our Lord will be glorified.

We remain your servants in Christ,

The Rowells.
