Recently God has opened a door for us
to take the gospel to 25 Emberá villages
in the Cemaco Reserve in the Darién.
Families fleeing the horrors or guerilla
war in Colombia make their way across
the border and seek refuge in these
villages.

These villages are situated along various
tributaries of the Chucunaque river
system. They are geographically divided
into four areas.

We are currently working in Area One
which consists of the basin between the
Membrillo and Ucurgantí rivers which are
both tributaries into the Chucunaque
river system.

There are five villages in Area One, each
of which is only accessable by river. We
travel a circuit on a monthly basis
planting, organizing and maturing the
churches in these villages.
